Day trip to Syriam (L)

After breakfast, you’ll travel across the Yangon River to Syriam – the strategic base of the Portuguese explorer Philip De Brito during the late 16th century and the early 17th century. You’ll then visit the market of Syriam and the Kyaik Khauk Pagoda on a small hill, about 4 kilometres south of the city. After lunch at a local restaurant, the tour continues to Kyauk Tan Pagoda on a small island in the middle of the river which can only be reached by boat. Return to Yangon in the late afternoon.
