Day trip to Pindaya Caves (L)

You will be picked up at your hotel around 8.00 a.m. With your guide, you will travel to Pindaya (approx. two hours), a charming village with a paper umbrella cottage industry. After arriving, you will stroll through the village and visit the colourful market, which villagers come to from the surrounding mountains to sell their fruit and vegetables. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you will visit the Pindaya Caves, which house more than 8,000 Buddhas, as well as see some paper umbrella production. Then, you will return to Kalaw.
