All-day trip to Kekku (L)

You will be picked up at your hotel around 7:00 a.m. Together with your guide you will travel by boat to Nyaung Shwe (about a one-hour journey), a small town located at the northern end of Inle Lake. From here continue by car via Taunggyi (approx. 1 hour) to Kekku (approx. 2 hours). Located here, deep in the Pa-oh territory around 42 km south of Taunggyi, are more than 2,000 stupas in a single location, packed together in close ranks and covering an area of approximately one square kilometre. The Kekku area is scattered with Pa-oh villages, especially along the main road leading from north to south. In the afternoon travel by car to Nampan (approx. 2 hours), at the eastern shore of Inle Lake. From here transfer by boat to your hotel.
