Day hike to Pane Hne Pin (L)

You will be picked up at your hotel around 8.00 a.m. With your guide you will travel in a pick-up truck for around 15 minutes in a north-westerly direction until the ‘A’ crossroads. From here, you will take the footpath leading right. The path leads through a hilly countryside that mainly features plantations. After approximately two hours, you will reach Pane Hne Pin, a small Palaung village with approximately 600 inhabitants. The Palaung people live off of agriculture and hunting. The Palaung women wear light blue and red garments. Lunch in Pane Hne Pin. In the afternoon, you will hike across constantly undulating ground for about an hour and a half, until you reach the ‘B’ crossroads, where the vehicle will take you back to Kalaw.
