Ziyadum, situates about 55 km north-west of Putao with an altitude at 3.540 feet (1.079 metres) above sea is the last frontier village in Putao region, beautiful with pristine forests and rivers often crossed by suspension bridges. Ziyadum is also the center point for many mountains in the area such as Mt. Phonyin, Mt. Ziya, Pangram Razi and Phangran Razi which all are of perennially snow-capped mountains and can be seen as closed as a hand reach away in a clear day.
