Day 01 YANGON / Arrival
Upon arrival at Yangon International Airport: welcome by our local tour guide and transfer to hotel and check-in. You will have the rest of the day free. This is a good opportunity to explore the city centre or visit the magical Shwedagon Pagoda. Overnight stay at the Best Western Chinatown Hotel.
Day 02 YANGON – BAGAN (B)
Transfer to airport for your morning flight to Bagan. Transfer to hotel upon arrival. You will have the rest of the day free. You can therefore visit some of the main pagodas and temples. Overnight stay at the Arthawka Hotel in New Bagan.
Day 03 BAGAN (B)
Free time for further sightseeing in Bagan. Overnight stay at the Arthawka Hotel in New Bagan.
Day 04 BAGAN – MANDALAY (B)
Transfer to airport for the morning flight to Mandalay. Transfer to hotel upon arrival. You will have the rest of the day free for visiting the most famous pagodas. Overnight stay at the Hotel Yadanarbon.
Day 05 MANDALAY (B)
Free time for further sightseeing of your choice. Overnight stay at the Hotel Yadanarbon.
Day 06 MANDALAY – HEHO – NYAUNG SHWE (INLE LAKE) (F)
Afternoon transfer to airport for your flight to Heho in the Shan region. Some people call it ‘the Switzerland of Myanmar’. From here, the journey continues to Nyaung Shwe, a small town located at the northern end of Inle Lake. Hotel check-in. You will have the rest of the day free. You will stay overnight at the Inle Cottage Boutique Hotel in Nyaung Shwe.
Day 07 NYAUNG SHWE (INLE LAKE) (B)
Free day. Our recommendation: day trip to Inle Lake, famous for its unique one-leg rowers, typical floating gardens, local methods of fishing and village life out on the water. Overnight stay at the Inle Cottage Boutique Hotel in Nyaung Shwe.
Day 08 NYAUNG SHWE – HEHO – YANGON (B)
Transfer to airport and return flight to Yangon. Upon arrival in Yangon, transfer to hotel and check-in. You will have the rest of the day free. Enough time for a stroll around Bogyoke Market. Overnight stay at the Best Western Chinatown Hotel.
Day 09 YANGON / Departure (B)
Your day is free up until your transfer to Yangon International Airport.
